Antibody formulations and protein stability are vital for therapeutic applications. Understanding formulation basics and maintaining stability ensures efficacy and safety. To improve formulation outcomes, one needs to understand aggregation mechanisms, which can compromise stability, and are a key formulation challenge. Excipients play a crucial role in stabilizing colloidal stability of proteins, which includes preventing aggregation. This presentation will provide a brief introduction to these topics.
