Vishnu Sharma is a Staff Fellow in the Office of Clinical Pharmacology at the US Food and Drug Administration. He has more than 10 years of combined experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, and regulatory agency. His research interests include leveraging quantitative model-based platforms in diverse therapeutic areas such as neurology, psychiatry, anesthesia, analgesia, and addiction products. Prior to his current role, he served as a senior scientist in quantitative pharmacology at EMD Serono (as part of Merck KGaA in Germany) and contributed as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Florida. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Temple University and a Graduate Certificate in Statistics from Texas A&M University. Dr. Sharma’s work has been published in a wide range of refereed journals including Molecular Pharmaceutics, Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, and others.
