Mr. Sariful Islam Howlader is a dedicated pharmaceutical sciences researcher specializing in clinical pharmacology and drug development. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC), Amarillo, TX. Mr. Howlader earned his Master of Science in Chemistry, majoring in Biochemistry, from Tennessee Technological University (TTU), and his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Khulna University, Bangladesh.
His research, spanning molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology, includes techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, and flow cytometry. His work addresses disease mechanisms including mitochondrial dysfunction, autophagy, and gene roles in immune cell development and inflammation. Mr. Howlader has also explored therapeutic applications like stem cell and CAR-T cell therapies.
Active in professional organizations like the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), Mr. Howlader has presented at various conferences and received multiple awards for his research excellence. His analytical skills, collaborative approach, and commitment to advancing clinical pharmacology underscore his significant contributions to improving human health.
