Christine Nervig, PhD is a biological chemist and R&D application scientist specializing in biophysical characterization of biologic drug products at TA Instruments. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at St. Olaf College and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry in the Owen Lab at the University of Utah. With an extensive background in organic chemistry and reaction methodology, her PhD research focused on the development and evaluation of antibody, protein, and peptide conjugates for the targeted delivery of small molecule therapeutics. At TA Instruments, she supports the development of cutting-edge biophysical characterization instrumentation and is interested in learning about the challenges and unmet needs faced in the development of large molecule drug products and cell and gene therapies in biopharma.
