Malaz Yousef is a distinguished pharmaceutical scientist who is pursuing a dual Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from both the University of Alberta in Canada and the University of São Paulo in Brazil. Her research, titled "Development of Novel Models to Study Sub and Post Cellular Uptake of Drugs Following Oral Administration" demonstrates her deep expertise in the field and has been widely recognized for advancing understanding in lymphatic system modeling.
Throughout her PhD studies, Malaz has been prolific in her research output, publishing nine papers in prominent peer-reviewed journals, with additional manuscripts in progress. Her research contributions have brought valuable insights into drug delivery, earning her a solid reputation in the scientific community.
Before pursuing her PhD, Malaz earned a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Bradford in the UK, graduating with distinction at the top of her cohort. Her exceptional academic performance was further recognized with the University of Bradford Academic Excellence Scholarship. She also holds a First Class Honors undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Khartoum in Sudan, where she received numerous academic awards for her achievements.
