Tze Ning Hiew is an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She received her Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) and Ph.D. degrees from the National University of Singapore, and subsequently completed her postdoctoral training in the Department of Industrial and Molecular Pharmaceutics at the Purdue University College of Pharmacy. Research in Tze Ning's group at the University of Iowa focuses on formulation and processing of oral solid dosage forms, where her team uses innovative particle engineering strategies to address challenging active pharmaceutical ingredient properties and patients' needs for specialized dosage forms. Her research has thus far received support from the PhRMA Foundation, Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust, as well as the pharmaceutical industry. She currently serves on the editorial boards of AAPS PharmSciTech and the International Journal of Pharmaceutics.
