Felix Reichel is a pharmacist and currently serving as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Institute of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Seidlitz and Prof. Dr. Breitkreutz. Conducting research on a preclinical in vitro vitreous body model to simulate drug release, distribution, and clearance following intravitreal administration. This involves optimizing vitreous body substitutes, especially regarding rheological and diffusion properties, manufacturing model dosage forms, and developing a vitreous body model. Additionally, gained further knowledge on topics including tabletting, coating, release testing, ophthalmics, quality assurance, and statistical analysis.
He also already has experience in the pharmaceutical industry through multiple internships in various European countries, focusing on galenic development and analytics. Tasks primarily involved planning and conducting development studies, data collection, subsequent statistical analysis of production batches, and life-cycle processes. Furthermore, pursued additional training in GMP and numerous topics in the fields of pharmaceutical analytics and technology.
