Giacomo Spano is a Ph.D. Pharmaceutical Sciences (SBS) student at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he focuses on formulation and drug delivery systems. He earned an MS degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies from Università degli Studi di Sassari and became a licensed pharmacist (PharmD) in June 2022. His research emphasizes the principles of physical pharmacy and physical chemistry, with a primary focus on the characterization and development of novel liposomal and lipid-based drug delivery systems. An innovative contact angle method is employed as a key characterization tool in his work.
