Dr. Rui Chang, Associate Professor in the department of Neurology, Associate Director of The Center for Innovation in Brain Science, Unibersity of Arizona. Prior to join the University of Arizona, he was the Assistant Professor in the department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai, NY. He obtained his training in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc.), Communication Engineering (M.Sc.), and Computer Science (machine learning) (Ph.D.). His research interests focus on novel drug target discovery and precision medicine by developing novel computational systems biology methods to integrate multi-omics big data and to understand the molecule mechanism. His current researches portofolio are funded by federal grants in neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer's disease, Lewy body dementia) and cancer.
