Dr. Sudip Das has over thirty years of experience in teaching and research within professional pharmacy and graduate programs across the USA and Canada. He has mentored more than fifty postdoctoral, MS, PhD, and PharmD research scholars and boasts over 150 publications, including research papers, review articles, patents, conference presentations, and book chapters. Recognized with numerous awards for his achievements in drug delivery, Dr. Das has secured research funding from organizations such as NIH, PDA, and various pharmaceutical industry sectors. He is actively engaged in the academic and research community, serving on editorial boards of several influential journals. His research focuses on formulation development for nanomedicine, addressing poorly soluble drugs, targeted drug delivery, and non-viral gene therapy approaches. A member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) since 1991, Dr. Das has contributed to various AAPS committees and currently chairs the 2024 PharmSci 360 Discovery and Basic Research Track of the Scientific Programming committee. He is also the past chair of the Global Health Community and Vice Chair of the Pharmaceutical Discovery and Preclinical Development (PDPD) community.
