Graduate Research Assistant
University of Utah
Bonnie Long is a third-year graduate research assistant in the lab of Dr. Shawn Owen in the Department of Molecular Pharmaceutics at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. Her current work involves designing and engineering novel antibody-drug conjugates targeting Triple-Negative Breast Cancer. To achieve these goals, she is learning to become highly proficient at skills including antibody design, protein expression in mammlian cells, protein purification, antibody-drug conjugate chemistry, and several characterization techniques, such as mass spectrometry, nuclear magnetic resonance, surface plasmon resonance, and more.
