Research Assistant
University of Utah
Jiahui Li earned her B.S. in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017, followed by a PharmD from the University of Utah in 2022. Currently, she is a PhD student at the University of Utah, working under the mentorship of Dr. Jindrich Kopecek and Dr. Jiyuan Yang. Her academic and professional endeavors bridge the gap between clinical practice and scientific research, with a primary focus on developing and evaluating N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide (HPMA)-based bioconjugates.
Jiahui's research includes the development of antibody-polymer-drug conjugates (pADCs) for treating various malignancies, HPMA polymer-based immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with polymer-based chemotherapeutics for melanoma treatment, and polymer-based DR5-targeted therapies. Her work aims to enhance the efficacy and specificity of cancer treatments, paving the way for more personalized, effective, and safer therapeutic options for patients.
