Celene Titus is a 4th-year PhD candidate at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, under the supervision of Dr. Reina Bendayan. She has received several prestigious awards, including the Mark Wainberg Fund Award, Wayne and Huguette Burns Graduate Student Bursary, and the IBBS Danica Stanimirovic Award. Her research focuses on the therapeutic potential of PPARĪ³ agonists, specifically INT131, in mitigating neuroinflammation and exerting antiviral effects in HIV-associated disorders.
