Graduate Student
University of Minnesota, Department of Pharmaceutics
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Minnesota, where I am dedicated to advancing the early diagnostic markers for Alzheimer's disease. My research focuses particularly on cerebrovascular pathology in Alzheimer's, exploring how these vascular changes contribute to disease progression.
Throughout my Ph.D. journey, I have actively participated in the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) conferences. I am honored to have received the Best Abstract Award twice and was invited for a rapid-fire presentation at AAPS Pharm sci 360, 2020. These recognitions have validated my efforts and underscored the significance of my work in the scientific community.
My research is enriched by active collaboration with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. This partnership allows me to gain invaluable clinical insights into Alzheimer's disease, bridging the gap between laboratory research and real-world clinical applications.
Recently, I completed a six-month co-op in the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics department at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, spanning from May 2023 to December 2023. This experience provided me with practical industry exposure, enhancing my understanding of the clinical and pharmacometrics aspects of Alzheimer's disease treatment.
