Graduate Student
University of Pittsburgh
I am a PhD Candidate in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. My research is focused on developing novel delivery systems for immune-related conditions and diseases (e.g., allergic contact dermatitis, transplant rejection). Throughout my various research experiences, starting as an undergraduate student at University of Maryland, I have gained a diverse technical skillset in both the drug delivery and immunology fields. As a graduate student, I have had extensive experience with writing and submitting grants for the Department of Defense, resulting in several years of funding for our lab. I am passionate about outreach and mentoring, and have mentored several undergraduate students who have received individual fellowships under my leadership. In my spare time, I swim, compete in triathlons, and travel.
