Ferdoushi is originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh. She obtained her BS in applied chemistry & chemical engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2012 and PhD in Chemistry, from Georgia state university in 2022. She currently works as a Senior Scientist in Merck’s Biologics Analytical Research and Development Department. Prior to joining Merck, Ferdoushi’s research was focused on development of molecular micelles to enantioseparate a broad range of chiral small molecules by micellar electrokinetic chromatography hyphenated to tandem mass spectrometry (MEKC-MS/MS). At Merck, she now works on analytical method development for biologics, including chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and residual assays.
