I got my PharmD degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2018. I worked on the synthesis of new anti-cancer drugs and the evaluation of their cytotoxic activity for my dissertation. I also worked on protein drugs such as Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factors during my education. Following completion of my education and research work at the university, I founded and managed my own pharmacy in my country and worked as a drug supervisor in a local hospital. I joined the graduate program at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Iowa in 2023 and my current research work involves understanding the underlying mechanisms of protein aggregation in mechanically stressed products.
