Anura Indulkar, PhD is a Principal Research Scientist in the Drug Product Development organization at AbbVie Inc, IL. She received her PhD in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University in 2017. She earned her Masters in Pharmaceutics from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali, India in 2012 and Bachelors in Pharmacy from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India in 2010. Anura joined AbbVie in 2017 and has been working in the area of preformulations and formulation sciences focusing on physicochemical characterization of molecules, biopharmaceutics & oral absorption and preclinical/clinical formulation development. Anura has strong background in the area of supersaturated systems and amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs). Her interests include understanding dissolution mechanisms and phase behavior of ASDs, formulating poorly soluble compounds and understanding the impact of supersaturation and precipitation on oral absorption. She has authored 19 peer reviewed research papers and was recognized by Early Career Award in AbbVie in 2022.
