My name is Gabriela Natalí Otavalo. I hold a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of Cuenca in Ecuador. I am a member of the Drug Delivery Laboratory research group at the Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at the University of Chile. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My research is focused on the development of lipid nanocarriers with peptides printed on polymeric films for stable permeation through the buccal mucosa.
