Associate Principal Engineer

Allison DuRoss, Ph.D. is currently an Associate Principal Engineer in Solid Dosage and Bioavailability Enhancement (Product Development) at Lonza. Her main area of focus is designing and testing amorphous solid dispersion-based solid dosage formulations and processes for clients. Previously, she focused her attention on expanding an redefining the solid dosage offering at Lonza to improve formulations and processes through the capabilities of the Styl’One compaction simulator. Most recently, she has been engaged in bringing hot melt extrusion to Lonza Bend's Early Phase Clinical Manufacturing facility. She received her B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Oregon State University.
