Dr Parind Desai is an Associate Director in the Drug Product Development Department at GSK. He has 10+ Years of Post PhD experience in Product Development fields. His research areas include Process Engineering, Materials Science, Formulation Development and Modeling. He leads a team of process engineers and PAT scientists. He has contributed in the development of GSK steriles and oral solids drug products, which were/are at different CMC stages. He has published 20 articles and one book chapter in Pharmaceutics field. He is a reviewer of IJP, JPS, EJPB, Molecular Pharmaceutics, AAPSPharmSciTech, DDIP and other Pharmaceutics journals. Before joining GSK, he completed his Postdoc from Novartis-MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and PhD from National University of Singapore.
