From putting an audience to sleep at his first engineering conference to successfully leading a training effort for more than 10,000 engineers and technicians, David P. Otey has been there! He knows first-hand the challenges facing anyone working in an in information-driven environment who is called upon to present to an audience—whether that is a presentation audience or an interview panel.

David now shares what he has learned with scientists, engineers, and other technical experts so they can connect and engage with their audiences effectively. A TEDx speaker and coach, Mr. Otey is the author of "The Speaker’s Quick Guide" series of books for aspiring and emerging speakers. He also hosts the biweekly podcast, "The Power of Story and Science."
