Gregor Jordan, (graduate chemical engineer), is a “Senior Principal Scientist” and sub chapter lead at Roche Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED), Roche Innovation Center Munich (Germany).
Prior to his current position, Gregor gained experience in preparative chromatography (e.g. simulated moving bed (SMB), recycling chromatography) and analytical (bio-)analysis for small molecules with a focus on chromatography, MS, GC and atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Simulation and prediction of chromatographic elution profiles was part of his mathematical focus as well as compartmental modeling in pharmacokinetics.
In his current position, his focus is on large molecule bioanalysis, mainly assay development for API including soluble target quantification, immunogenicity testing and soluble biomarkers to support pre-clinical and clinical projects. Gregor contributed to several publications and patents covering assay/technology development, modelling & simulation and in-solution KD determination as well as free analyte quantification.
