Craig Sather

Craig Sather is currently Associate Director CMC for Bioavailability Enhancement at Lonza Bend. He joined the Bend, Oregon site in 2010 and has extensive experience formulating and developing amorphous solid dispersions. In addition to immediate release tablets, Craig has applied himself to the formulation development of modified release tablets, minitablets, multiparticultes, and lipid formulations both for enhanced and crystalline products.

Craig is currently responsible for leading a product development team focusing on formulation and process development of amorphous solid dispersions via hot melt extrusion and spray drying and their dosage forms interfacing at discovery through clinical stage programs. He is a graduate from Willamette University holding a Bachelor of Arts with a chemistry major and is in an inventor on multiple patents and patent applications.
