As subcutaneous (SC) administration is an increasingly desirable option for drug delivery, there's a growing demand for tools to assist in making informed decisions throughout various stages of drug development. To address this need, we have established a physiologically based open-source platform to predict the absorption and bioavailability of both small molecules and therapeutic proteins, while also considering local immunogenicity. We will showcase the platforms capability in predictions, analyses, and learn-and-confirm strategies pertaining to drug absorption, bioavailability, and immunogenic response following SC drug administration. This will highlight the platform's versatility as a valuable tool across drug classes and application of use.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to articulate the core concepts for applying the presented platform and leverage this knowledge for data-driven decision-making processes in subcutaneous drug development.
