Post-doctoral Researcher
University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center
Dr. Amarinder Singh, PhD, is a post Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at The University of Tennessee Health Center. He isa graduate of the prestigious CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, boasts over eight (8) years of extensive experience across both industry and academia, worked with renowned research giants such as Syngene and Aurigene Oncology. Dr. Singh works in a lab which is at the forefront of advancing the comprehension of pharmacokinetics (PK) concerning New Chemical Entities (NCEs) and their underlying biological mechanisms. Through meticulous evaluation of NCE PK properties, he helps in discerns crucial information on the onset, duration, and intensity of therapeutic agents, thereby underpinning PKPD correlations. His expertise extends to conducting regulatory and clinical PK studies in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment. Additionally, Dr. Singh's prolific contributions include authorship of 20 peer-reviewed journal papers, predominantly focused on the development of advanced bioanalytical methods utilizing HPLC and LC-MS/MS platforms for NCE, drug, metabolite, Pharmacokinetics, and Toxicokinetic studies, adhering to rigorous international standards. At present, Dr. Singh is passionately engaged in the mathematical modeling of PK and PK-PD data, facilitating the simulation of drug concentration profiles prior to in-vivo studies and the optimization of dose and dosage regimens.
