Feng is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery at the College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D training in Industrial Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin.
Feng worked in pharmaceutical industry for 14 years at PharmaForm and Gilead Sciences before joining the academia in 2014. His current research focuses on the application of twin-screw extrusion in advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing including continuous granulation and amorphous solid dispersions. His publications and research evidence his dedication to the field of industry pharmacy. Since 2014, he has published 37 peer-review journal articles, and coauthored 3 book chapters. He is the editor of the 2nd edition of “Pharmaceutical Extrusion Technology” book. Feng is the associate editor of Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology and he serves on the editorial board of AAPS PharmSciTech.
