Dr. Cheng is a formulation scientist & project leader in R&D division at Andros Pharmaceuticals Co. Ltd in Taiwan. He receviced a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan where his research focused on the development of polymeric drug delivery systems for peptide. Prior to his Ph.D., Dr. Cheng received his B.S. in Life Science from National University of Kaohsiung, Taiwan and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. Dr. Cheng has 13 plus years of experience in drug formulation development and pharmaceutical manufacturing research. In his current role, Dr. Cheng provides the formulation of lipid-nanoparticle, in vitro skin permeation test development and formulation performance testing for topical use. His work focuses on assessing the formulation of physicochemical properties and stability on the topical new dosage form.
