Leonie-Lara Uth is a PhD student and research assistant in the working group of Prof. Breitkreutz at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany. She is a pharmacist by training, and after successfully completing her studies in Düsseldorf, she gained valuable experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with Teva GmbH and NextPharma GmbH.
The broad range of topics covered at the institute provides researchers with the opportunity to learn extensively beyond their specific research areas. In addition to her focus on oral film preparations and process development, Leonie-Lara is familiar with pharmaceutical inkjet drug printing, film coating, spray drying, and tableting. Furthermore, she has gained knowledge in various analytical methods, including permeation studies, HPLC analysis, and dissolution testing.
