Paolo Colombo graduated in Pharmacy in 1968. As Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Parma, Italy, he was Head of the Department of Pharmacy and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Prof. Colombo is now retired and nominated Emeritus Professor at University of Parma. He has been among the founders, and now the CEO, of PlumeSTARS, a company active in orphan medicines research and development.
