Dr. Mohammad Hossain Shariare is working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, North South University (NSU) and coordinator of Bangladesh Society for Nano and Advanced Drug Delivery Society (BSNADDS). Dr. Shariare did his PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from University of Bradford, UK with Emeritus Professor Peter York. Dr. Shariare did his undergraduate degree from Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Shariare has 18 years of professional experience and worked both in academia and pharmaceutical Industries. He has published several research papers in highly reputed international peer reviewed journals such as Nature Scientific Reports, Colloids and Surfaces B, Nano structures & nano objects, Nanomaterials, Pharmaceutical Research, Int. Journal of Pharmaceutics, Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences etc. He has also presented several international conference proceedings in USA, UK, and EU. Dr. Shariare has awarded several government and NSU research funds to work on nano drug delivery systems. Dr. Shariare has been awarded the prestigious “Samson H Chowdhury Memorial Young Scientist Award” in 2019 and “Merck” Bangladesh publication award in 2021 for his contribution on nano drug delivery research. Dr. Shariare research interest area is advanced drug delivery systems including nano drug delivery systems, inhalation drug delivery systems, and also about the fundamentals of material science particularly morphology, structure and mechanical properties of drug crystals.
