Jorge Alex Pavon, Ph.D.
Alex Pavon is a Principal Scientist at Merck in Rahway NJ, with 12 years of industry experience in biologics drug development. He is currently supporting the biologics pipeline as a CMC and Analytical lead for multiple programs encompassing antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), fusion proteins and standard monoclonal antibodies at different stages of clinical development. He is also responsible for leading cross-functional scientific and operational initiatives with the intent to enhance and integrate process and analytical development. With academic background in biochemistry and enzymology, he has authored multiple publications in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry.
