•Maria Paisana joined Hovione in 2016 as a lead Analytical Scientist, supporting several development projects of intermediate drug products and final oral drug products in the R&D Drug Product Development group. Since 2018 she has been focused on the research and development of new analytical methodologies for physical, rheological and performance characterization of drug product intermediates and final products in the R&D Analytical Development group. Her education background includes a PhD in pharmaceutical technology focused on the physical and performance characterization of polymorphic drugs and a Master degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
