Dr. Mansoor Khan is a University Distinguished Professor and Interim Dean the Texas A&M University-Health Rangel College of Pharmacy. He previously served as Vice Dean with oversight of College Station campus, faculty affairs, research, and graduate program.
Prior to joining Texas A&M University in 2015, Dean Khan served as a Division Director and SBRS Scientist in FDA/CDER for over 11 years. Dr. Khan is a licensed pharmacist, and received his Ph.D. degree in industrial pharmacy from the St. Johns University in NY. He has published over 350 peer-reviewed manuscripts, five books and 39 book chapters, and delivered over 275 presentations world-wide. Dr. Khan’s research is currently supported by three NIH grants on 3D printing of medications, one from FDA, several others from Texas A&M University.
Dean Khan is extremely well-known nationally and internationally. He has received numerous awards from FDA, professional organizations and the universities. Dean Khan received the “2023 AAPS Distinguished Pharmaceutical Scientist Award, 2023 NIPTE Distinguished Professor Award, 2023 Graduate Faculty of the Year Award in the school of Pharmacy and 2022 IPEC Foundation’s Ralph Shangraw Memorial Award on Excipients Research in Boston.
