Eric Luellen is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in innovation strategy, AI, and data science, most applied to biomedical and biotechnology industries. He is currently the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer of a stealth-mode biotech company, Turing Biosciences, developing novel DARPA-inspired AI approaches to drug discovery & theragnostics using integrated multi-omics data.
As a CTIO, Eric has led teams of PhDs and contractors with multi-million dollar budgets, and has been responsible for drug discovery, regulated companion and diagnostics apps (SaMD & MLaMD), data mining indication expansions, data-as-an-asset infrastructure, strategic relationships, and strategy. He has a proven track record of creating value and impact through his leadership, creativity, and expertise in applied AI, machine learning, data analytics, bioinformatics, digital health, and genomics. He is also a three-time founder, former CEO, and a prolific inventor, author, and speaker.
He holds advanced degrees from Northwestern and UMASS Amherst, 37 credit hours in medical sciences from Harvard University, plus 10 advanced certificates or diplomas. Eric is an Eagle Scout and father of three.
