Dr. Yeakub Zaker is working as Contractor (Scientific Researcher) in U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Office of Pharmaceutical Quality at the Division of Pharmaceutical Quality Research II in St. Louis, MO and working on several research projects by utilizing spectroscopic imaging techniques to characterize pharmaceutical products. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Toledo in 2020 with a concentration on Physical and Nanomaterial Chemistry under Prof. Terry Bigioni while worked on the synthesis, characterization, and application of metal nanoparticles. After receiving Ph.D., he spent 2 years as a postdoctoral fellow at Clemson University, SC with Prof. Tanju Karanfil, where he worked to develop green and economic drinking water purification technologies. He has expertise as Physical, Analytical and Nanomaterial Chemist.
