With over 25 years of experience in diagnostic and research laboratories, Dr. JP Kotha specializes in cardiovascular, hematology, oncology, and immunology. He is adept at leading cross-functional teams in clinical and translational research, focusing on the development of biologics and small-molecule therapeutics.
Currently, Dr. Kotha serves as Vice President, Bioanalytical Laboratory at Worldwide, where he leverages his extensive expertise in the development and validation of bioanalytical assays. His work encompasses pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic, biomarker, and immunogenicity testing across diverse technological platforms. Additionally, he guides research scientists and project managers in laboratory testing for clinical research. Previously, JP was Vice President of Translational Research at MLM Medical Labs in Memphis, Tennessee, a position he ascended to in 2022 after serving as Senior Scientific Officer since 2010. His earlier roles include significant contributions to the Department of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and the Department of Clinical Virology at Christian Medical College and Hospital. JP earned his Ph.D. in Cellular & Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and holds an MBBS from NTR University of Health Sciences in India.
