Vibhuti Agrahari, PhD is an assistant professor of pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). Her current research focuses on designing innovative bio-responsive and/or controlled-release formulations for inner ear and ocular drug delivery. Her research has received support from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) New Investigator Award, Presbyterian Health Foundation New Investigator Grant, and Capita Foundation Auditory Research Grant. She has presented her research work at numerous conferences and has more than 35 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Advanced drug delivery reviews, Biomaterials, Drug discovery today, Journal of Controlled Release, Journal of Nanobiotechnology, PNAS, Trends in biotechnology, and Nanomedicine.
Vibhuti is an active member of professional organizations and served in various leadership roles, including Co-Chair and Scientific Committee Chair of 2016 Pharmaceutics Graduate Student Research Meeting, AACP Council of Faculty - Junior Faculty Community Leadership Group, Ambassador of CRS Young Scientists Committee, Member of AAPS Nomination Committee, 2020 AAPS PharmSci360 - Track Leader, Formulation and Delivery/Biomolecular Committee, AAPS Strategic Planning Task Force and Horizon Planning Committee (2020-23), Chair of AAPS Modified Release Community, UMKC Women’s Council Board of Directors, and UMKC School of Pharmacy Alumni Board of Directors (2023-25).
